Did I mention.....
So there are several shows coming up - were in the crunch for the first one. It's called the National Arts Show - and it's a combo National Arts Association ( http://nationalartassociation.com/ ) and GCRAG ( http://www.GCRAG.org ) event. We have 140 people that were accepted and will hang their art at the Phillip S. Miller Library here in Castle Rock. I will have a piece (of which I still need to create) both of my sons will have a piece, the girl next door and so on. It's incredibly exciting!!! The next show coming up is the miniatures show at the Gallery mid to late November. Then in February is Romancing the Arts Show - that's a fun one with some very beautiful pieces! Then it's Art Walk Art Talk in June - which is a demo/art show/sale out of doors - this one I'm head chair for - the others I'm either helping with or Co-chairing. Somehow I went from being a stay at home mom to 90-nothing Art Palooza master in training *giggles*. Pretty cool, I'm learning a TON about the art biz, organizing people and how intertwined the city has to be for an art group like ours to even exist.
