Summer time
The year has gone by like a flash of lightening yet again. Here I am looking at the end of June wondering where all that time I thought I had went to. I have several accomplishments under my belt for this year - which could explain the speed up in time lol. I successfully headed the committee for an art event for my art guild, and we had a very successful event. I, myself, didn't sell anything - but that's no big surprise as I wasn't at my booth more than 45 minutes the whole day. It was my job to collect sight fees, hand out tax documents, make sure the artists had someone to watch their booth while they went to the bathroom etc. Everyone seemed rather happy :). I have also sold a print in the last event I was in, and completed and sent off a commission piece that was such a blast to do!

As far as my art goes - I have enough projects to keep me busy for all summer! I am finally finishing the owl for my husbands Grandmother. I have a beautiful Iris to make into art, and a photo a friend of mine sent for me to do. I also will be designing a logo, and learning how to paint quotes on walls with zero mistakes! I've taken on a side job too for a fund raiser making bracelets from thin ribbon and pony beads to help raise money for art prizes for a big event were doing that anyone with any level of talent can enter.

I'm afraid my summer will fly by even faster than the first part of the year. Guess I should start brainstorming ideas for Christmas cards now huh lol. I hope to get a family pictures into these cards if I have to draw it myself lol.

I got a new computer program to help me update my webpage - the one I was using got outdated and corrupt. I can't wait to get all the artwork I've been working on up there!
