The Gallery has a whole new feel. I was wondering what it would look like. There is photography, glass artwork, pottery, as well as drawings and paintings. I realized that my rose and pig being static though may not be a good idea. I'll let it stay for this round, but I'll discuss it with Mark next time that if he finds a picture or pictures that would fit there better to feel free to switch them out. I hope to have new stuff for next round. It is sooo awesome having a gallery so close to where we are - and being a part of it.

The Miniatures show is in full swing now. I just need to get a spiced wine recipe that will go well in a crock pot, and grill Rosie on how to make those wonderful mini sandwiches of hers!! I have a place for my artwork that will allow me to maintain the food levels and drink outgoings. I even had Tamara (the Miniatures Chair) order me a T-shirt like the ones we'll be auctioning off with the logo for this show.

We were approached yesterday by a couple of guys with an awesome opportunity - pro rated advertisement that will reach anyone walking into a gas station for a couple weeks ahead of the shows were doing = pro-rated since were a non profit group. I think it's a great opportunity for us for certain!

There is so much movement in this Art Guild - so many things going on, and you can feel the energy radiating from the things were doing. We have an awesome inner community withen our incredibly accepting group - a place I really feel at home in. I am making friends, and connections with people I really respect. Some of them have been creating for years, some just picked up a paintbrush - all in all though it's a family - and I'm really glad and inspired to be a part of it!
